Esther Jades began with a word from Yehovah: It’s time to prepare.

He reignited my love for herbs and healing, but before I could fully step back into that calling, I had to get my own chronic pain under control. The first thing I did was research ingredients that truly work to fight pain. Through prayer, study, and persistence, I was guided through several formulations. By the fifth or so, I finalized what would become our first—and best-selling—product: Pain Buster Cream.

It quickly became clear that pain affects many people. From that moment on, my mission has been to help others manage pain and to do whatever else is within my power to serve. I was also told to take care of His people. I didn’t have to wonder long who they were—God brought them into my life. My Facebook group has drawn such wonderful people, and now they’ve gathered not only there, but here as well.

None of this would have been possible without the encouragement and support of Ian Fiduccia and Jeff and Miranda Brannon, who stood by me as I learned the basics of running an apothecary and formulating tinctures, teas, salves, creams, and many other products.

During this time, I was drawn deeply into the story of Queen Esther—her journey, her preparation, and her meeting with the King. Her preparation was intentional and structured, involving countless herbs, aloes, resins, salts, seeds, berries, waters, and minerals—all drawn from the gifts our King still provides today. After all, what is this life if not preparation to meet our King: Jesus Yeshua, our Messiah and Savior, our Redeemer, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?

That is how the name Esther Jades came to be—Esther for the Queen, and Jade after my youngest granddaughter. She had been estranged from us for years, and this was a small way to hold her close in my heart.

Later, I began sending care packages—including Pain Buster Cream—to a few content creators I follow. I had no idea how life-changing this would become, but God did. After Dan Bidondi received his package, he was so pleased with the Pain Buster Cream that he began promoting it on his weekly Spiritual Warfare Show on Truth Radio. David and Donna Carrico of FOJC Radio also support Esther Jades, as does Brian Reece from Visual Disturbance. Vicky Joy Anderson and Tom Dunn from Through the Black have mentioned us as well.

I have no doubt that it was the Father who put all of this together. Praise and glory to God Most High. I am deeply humbled and grateful for these men and women of God who have taken me under their wings and helped keep this small enterprise going.

And there’s more—completely unexpectedly, a couple from my group offered to help build this website. I didn’t even know how to begin. I’ll keep them anonymous for now, but I am profoundly thankful for them as well.

I’ve always loved herbs and cooking. My career was in food service, eventually serving as a cafeteria supervisor for many years—until a back injury disabled me. But God gave me new life through Esther Jades. The apothecary was a perfect fit, especially with my experience in commercial kitchens. He knew.

As long as I am able, I will continue making Pain Buster Cream—the product that helped me get back on my feet and has helped so many others. Other products may come and go, but Pain Buster Cream will remain available for as long as I can make it.

Through life’s trials, I am learning the power of restoration and trust in His care. God is able to give beauty for ashes, and just as the balm of Gilead and the trees of the field bring healing and shade, so too do the gifts of creation nurture our bodies, spirits, and hearts.
